The Denver Broncos (.505) have the 15th-hardest strength of schedule in the NFL going into the 2025 season.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs (.522) and Los Angeles Chargers (.522) are tied with the 11th-hardest schedules. The Las Vegas Raiders (.502) are middle-of-the-pack with the 16th-hardest schedule.

Formulating a strength of schedule ranking is, admittedly, an inexact science because it’s based on records from the 2024 season. Every year, rosters change across the NFL with some teams taking big steps forward and others regressing. Following the schedule release on Wednesday, though, now’s a good time to look ahead to the S.O.S. for all 32 NFL teams in 2025.

Overall, the San Francisco 49ers (.415) have the easiest schedule and the New York Giants (.574) have the hardest. Again, this is just on paper — based on last year’s results. So it should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is worth noting ahead of the 2025 season.
