Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco continues to juggle an injury ahead of his team’s Week 11 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Joe Burrow’s limited return to practice has understandably dominated the conversations around the Bengals, Flacco’s injury to his throwing arm is a major point of emphasis for a 3-6 team trying to stay alive.

Here’s the latest on Flacco’s injury.

Joe Flacco injury update

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reports that Flacco wouldn’t throw on Wednesday, but would on Friday, just like the week of practice before the bye, implying the veteran quarterback is again good to play.

Flacco played through the AC joint sprain during the team’s loss before the bye week, throwing for 470 yards and four scores.

For now, any emergency snaps will go to Jake Browning. Burrow hasn’t been officially activated to the 53-man roster and likely won’t for a few more weeks. But barring something unexpected, the Bengals won’t have to worry about going to backups against the Steelers, based on how Flacco played through the same issue a few weeks ago.
