Fehoko broke his arm, sprained his ankle and was checked for a concussion.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Simi Fehoko might have played his last down of the season. He was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday for an arm injury that head coach Jonathan Gannon said would cause him to miss time.

Fehoko revealed what happened on social media. He was dealing with more than just an arm injury.

A fan sarcastically posted about how Fehoko landed on IR, joking (perhaps not nicely) that he twisted his ankle getting water for a teammate.

Fehoko posted a photo of his right foot, showing that he indeed had a gnarly ankle sprain.

But that wasn’t what sidelined him, he said. He sprained his ankle on a play on special teams, had it retaped and went back out on another kickoff.

I taped this up and played with this, I’m on IR cause I broke my arm the next kickoff making a tackle lol

He broke his arm making a tackle on the next kickoff.

With the ankle sprain and the fracture, he was also checked for a concussion.

If Fehoko’s season is over, it ends with him having appeared in eight games for the Cardinals. He logged 37 offensive snaps without a catch or target. He played 116 snaps on special teams and had seven total special teams tackles, tied on the team for the third-highest total.
