The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Thursday that they have waived tight end Patrick Murtagh.
This move comes on the heels of the team announcing that they signed former Buffalo Bills tight end Quintin Morris to a one-year deal.

Murtagh, who is from Australia, was signed to the Jaguars‘ roster during the 2024 offseason as an International Pathway Player (IPP). On Day 8 of training camp, he suffered a right ankle injury that effectively ended his season.
Up to this point in the offseason, Murtagh remained on the Jaguars’ roster, although wide receiver Louis Rees-Zammit was designated as the team’s one International Pathway Player.
Before joining the Jaguars in 2024, Murtagh was an IPP designated player with Detroit during the 2023 offseason.
