Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season gives us some great games. With them we will get a taste of who are true playoff contenders. We also get a matchup that might happen again in the playoffs, and it is a big one in the NFC. Lets break down the matchups and the Bama stars that will impact them.

Packers at Giants (Sun. Nov. 16, Noon ct):

Josh Jacobs (Packers) – Coming off a close loss last week where Jacobs shined and was the focal point of the entire Packers offense, look for Jacobs to be used heavily again in this matchup too. His dual threat capability in both the run game and the passing game, gives him all the opportunity in the world to perform well.

Ravens at Browns (Sun. Nov. 16, 3:25 p.m. ct.):

Derrick Henry (Ravens) – Putting together good performances in his last two games, Henry faces a tough Cleveland defense that stiffed him earlier in the season. While Jackson did not play in that last matchup between these two divisional rivals, it’s safe to say that with Jackson in the lineup for this one, it should allow Henry to have a better game this time around.

Jerry Jeudy (Browns) – Jeudy has been finding more success as of late as his chemistry with rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel improves. He had a good game last week and should continue to get more targets as the season goes on. However this is a tough Ravens pass defense and the game plan for the Browns might lean more towards a heavy run script.

Lions at Eagles (Sun. Nov. 16, 7:20 p.m. ct.):

Jalen Hurts (Eagles) – Not his best performance last week, but one where he still found a way to lead his team to a victory. Another tough primetime game here, but against a much more gettable defense, both on the ground and through the air. This matchup should be cinema and could contend for game of the year. It also might not be the last time we see these two face off this year.

DeVonta Smith (Eagles) – Smitty was the lone touchdown scorer last week against the Packers for this Eagles offense. He remains one of Hurts’ favorite targets downfield, and should continue to be the go to chain mover through the air for this offense.

Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) – Coming off one of his best games of the year, Gibbs now faces a tough run defense against the Eagles. He remains the go to guy on the ground, and can easily make plays catching passes out of the backfield. Watch for Gibbs to get a heavy load in a similar fashion to what Skattebo was able to do against this same defense a few weeks ago.

Jameson Williams (Lions) – Coming off his best game of the season, Williams seems to be finding his stride and getting more designed plays called for him in this Lions offense. Williams will absolutely be called upon to make plays with his speed over the top, and in short yardage open space situations. This game should be fireworks.

Notable players to watch:

Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen waddle (Dolphins) – Facing a reeling Commanders defense, these two should be able to light them up in a similar way to what the lions were able to do against them last week.

That does it for the week 11 outlook. Check back Tuesday for the recap.
