With the bye week here, let’s take a look at how the Colts’ 2025 rookie draft class has performed up to this point in the season.

With the bye week here for the Indianapolis Colts, let’s take a look back at how each member of the 2025 rookie class has performed up to this point in the season.

1.14: TE Tyler Warren

Warren has been exceptional. His presence provides so much for this offense. We see the production in the passing game, but his ability as a blocker in the run game and versatility that allows him to fill different roles and line up across the formation, which opens up the playbook for Shane Steichen.

With Warren able to wear so many hats, he adds some unpredictability to this unit. Warren leads all tight ends in receiving yards entering Week 11.

2.45: DE JT Tuimoloau

For the most part, Tuimoloau’s role has been quite small this season. In several games, he has been a healthy scratch — a decision that is based on whether the Colts want an additional defensive end or defensive tackle available.

In seven games, Tuimoloau has played 128 total snaps, filling in recently for the injured Samson Ebukam and Tyquan Lewis. He has recorded seven pressures and five total tackles.

3.80: CB Justin Walley

The Colts placed Walley on season-ending IR with a knee injury prior to the regular season.

4.127: OT Jalen Travis

Travis has played 37 offensive snaps this season. He is the Colts’ swing tackle option off the bench, beating out Blake Freeland over the summer for that role.

5.151: RB DJ Giddens

Early on, Giddens seemed to be RB2 behind Jonathan Taylor, but his role has been reduced as the season went on. This includes being inactive for the last two weeks, with the emergence of Ameer Abdullah and Tyler Goodson returning from injury. Pass protection is one specific area where Giddens will have to continue improving.

6.189: QB Riley Leonard

Leonard was the third quarterback for the Colts coming out of training camp in what is supposed to be a developmental year for him. With Anthony Richardson on IR, Leonard has stepped into the backup role.

6.190: IDL Tim Smith

Smith has spent the season on the practice squad. With DeForest Buckner out in Week 10, Smith was elevated to the game day roster, but did not see any snaps.

7.232: S Hunter Wohler

Wohler was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a foot injury prior to the 2025 season.
