The Washington Commanders continue their preparation for the Week 11 game against the Miami Dolphins in Madrid, Spain. The Commanders have already ruled four players out for Sunday’s game, including wide receiver Terry McLaurin. McLaurin traveled with the team and has worked on the side with trainers this week. Washington hopes to have him back in Week 13. The Commanders are on a bye in Week 12.
Washington will also be without defensive tackle Daron Payne this week. Payne is suspended for throwing a punch at Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in last week’s blowout loss to Detroit.
There was a new addition on Thursday’s injury report: tight end Ben Sinnott. The second-year tight end caught his first touchdown pass of the season last week. Sinnott was limited with an ankle injury. Sinnott has played in every game this season, recording three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown as the No. 3 tight end. He’s participated in 29% of Washington’s offensive snaps.
With the Commanders currently 3-7, many fans want to see coaches give Sinnott more playing time over veteran Zach Ertz.
Here is Washington’s Thursday injury report:

Of the DNPs, Washington officially listed Daniels, Kaho and Burks out. Neither of the three made the trip to Spain. While McLaurin traveled with the team, the Commanders have already said they’d re-evaluate him after next week’s bye.
Of the limited participants, Jackson and Harris remain on injured reserve. However, Washington opened their 21-day practice windows, which would seem to indicate they are close to returning. Harris fractured his fibula in Week 3. Before the injury, he was playing well and could give the secondary a much-needed boost. Jackson, a former second-round pick of the 49ers, signed last month. He has an opportunity to impress the Commanders due to their lack of depth at defensive end.
