Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco is currently dealing with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder.
Despite the injury, he played last Sunday against the Chicago Bears and had a great game, finishing with 470 yards through the air, four touchdowns and two interceptions. The Bengals’ defense choked the game away at the end, but Flacco was still tremendous.

According to The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr., Flacco sat out Wednesday’s practice session this week but returned to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. His practice designation was on the Bengals’ injury report.
The Bengals hope that he can play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, especially after the way he played against them on Oct. 16. He helped the Bengals beat the Steelers 33-31, finishing with 342 yards through the air, three touchdowns and no interceptions.

In general, Flacco has been great since being traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Bengals. He has thrown for 1,254 yards, 11 touchdowns and only two interceptions in just four games with the Bengals.

The Bengals need a big win, as they are 3-6 overall. Starting quarterback Joe Burrow has returned to practice and plans on returning later in the season, but time will tell if the Bengals are still in the playoff hunt at that time.
Meanwhile, the Steelers have a one-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North and are also only two games up over the Bengals. They’re trying to bounce back after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday.
Kickoff for Sunday’s contest from Pittsburgh is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS. Kevin Harlan and Trent Green will have the call.
