It was nearly a perfect Thursday for the San Francisco 49ers.

Every member of their 53-man roster was in practice to start the session, and quarterback Brock Purdy was upgraded to a full participant as he gears up to start in Sunday’s game vs. the Arizona Cardinals. Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall practiced again and the 49ers appeared ready to cruise into Week 11 with as close to a fully healthy roster as they can have.

Unfortunately for San Francisco, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir popped up on the practice report as a limited participant because of a calf injury. He was not on the report Wednesday, indicating the injury cropped up at some point between the end of Wednesday’s practice and the end of Thursday’s practice.

The 49ers need all hands on deck defensively, particularly in the secondary which has become more important behind San Francisco’s struggling pass rush. If Lenoir can’t go, it would likely be Darrell Luter starting opposite Renardo Green with rookie Upton Stout manning the slot.

Friday will give us a better indication of the severity of Lenoir’s injury.
