Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London is questionable for Sunday’s home game against the Carolina Panthers. If the previous nine games are any indication, the Falcons’ passing game is questionable right along with him.

London, who has been limited in practice this week by an illness and back injury, has been the only consistent offensive force in an otherwise up-and-down offense. He is fifth in the league in target percentage, getting 29.7 percent of all the passing attempts in his direction, and he has accounted for 691 of the 1,093 receiving yards totaled by Atlanta receivers.

He is fourth in the league with 86.4 receiving yards per game and tied for fourth in receiving touchdowns with six. He has topped 100 yards in four of his last five games, and he is sixth in the league in fantasy scoring in PPR leagues with 19.76 points per game.

When he missed the Falcons’ Week 8 game against Miami, the Falcons lost 34-10, and the leading wide receiver was KhaDarel Hodge with three catches for 31 yards.

Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson both expressed optimism this week that Darnell Mooney will soon return to the form he flashed last season. Mooney has missed two games due to injury this season and only has 13 catches for 190 yards. Falcons head coach Raheem Morris revealed this week on 92.9 The Game, the team’s flagship radio station, that Mooney suffered a broken collarbone during training camp.

“I have all the trust and faith in Mooney in the world,” Penix said. “The amount of work he puts in every day allows me to have that faith. We’re going to get right, it’s just time on task. It’ll get better. I’m looking forward to that.”
