What’s at stake? For the Chargers a win before the bye week to get them at 8-3 is huge especially with the Broncos and Chiefs playing right after this game. The Bolts are also 6-1 in the conference but if they win this game they re 8-3, 7-1 in the AFC, and 3-0 on the division going into the bye week.

For the Jaguars, it has been a rollercoaster of a season especially after their big win over the Chiefs early in the season. They blew a huge lead against Houston and are looking to turn things around on Sunday returning home.

Who’s better? Chargers. They have been the better team this season and Jim Harbaugh has them rolling. 

Matchup to watch: Chargers D-Line vs. Jaguars O-Line: Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the league. In the last three games, the pass rush for the Bolts is averaging four sacks a game, so the more pressure they put on Lawrence the better their chances of a turnover or getting off the field.

Chargers win if: the offensive line can protect Justin Herbert. If Trevor Penning starts on Sunday at left tackle it will be interesting to see what he adds to the line. But this is pretty simple if the line can protect Herbert good things will happen.

Fantasy sleeper: Ladd McConkey. The second year receiver has been on a tear lately and it will more than likely continue on Sunday. Expect him to have another big performance against the Jaguars.

Prediction: In years past this would be a worrisome game because they are riding high right before the bye week. Harbaugh will have them focused and ready. Chargers 28 Jaguars 20
