The 2025 LSU Tigers team has not lived up to expectations, but they do still have some NFL talent waiting to fulfill their pro dreams after this season. It is the Tigers after all.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. recently released his updated big board rankings to reflect the college football season through Week 11. While no LSU players were included in his top 25 overall players, a handful were recognized in his Top 10 position rankings and honorable mentions.

Here are all of the Tigers prospects that were mentioned, and where they stand in their respective position groups:

This is actually fairly low compared to where a lot of the industry has Delane, but still a good sign for the cornerback that even his worst evaluations see him as a top-five player at the position.

The former Virginia Tech Hokies standout has looked incredible on defense this year, no matter the competition. If his goal was to prove that he could play against the best competition, he has passed with flying colors. He has NFL measurables, has played a lot of college football and will be just 22 when he’s drafted.

He won’t have to wait long to hear his name called.

Haulcy leads the Tigers in tackles with 64. He flies around the field to make plays. Like Delane, he was a highly-anticipated transfer set to take on better competition.

The 21-year-old looks like a linebacker back at strong safety. Similar to when Jacob Phillips played that role in Baton Rouge back on the 2019 team.

He’s done a solid job in coverage, but will make his money in the NFL as a run stopper.

Nussmeier is the same story that has been covered thousands of times by now. He entered the year with Heisman expectations and an abdominal injury combined with poor offensive coaching has really tanked his draft value.

He’s fallen from the No. 1 overall conversation down to Day 3. He has NFL size and tools, but hasn’t had the chance to show them off this year. Perhaps a team will fall in love with him when he is healthier towards the combine.

Perkins has always felt like a draft wildcard. If he had sustained the production that he started his career with, he would be an early first-round pick. That didn’t happen. Now it’ll be a team-to-team basis depending on how much they think they can get out of him.

He’s too small to be a pure EDGE rusher at the next level and has never really looked good as a pure off-ball linebacker. It’ll take a good defensive coordinator to get a lot out of him.

Pyburn had the opportunity really explode this year as a top pass rusher in this defense. He’s played his role well, but hasn’t exactly stood out. He generates a fair amount of pressure, but doesn’t convert into sacks. He has just 1.5 sacks on the year.

The former Florida Gator looks best in run defense, and that could find him a role in the NFL.
