The Tennessee Titans (1-8) will take on the Houston Texans (4-5) this Sunday afternoon at Nissan Stadium in their 10th game of the 2025 regular season.
Opening the week, the Titans were listed as 7.5-point home underdogs, but that spread has softened slightly with Tennessee at +6 as of this writing.
How does the Titans Wire staff see this Week 11 battle shaking out? Here’s a look at our picks and score predictions.
Mark Mihalko: Texans 24, Titans 16
Coming off the bye, the Titans get off to a hot start against the Texans and take an early lead before coming back down to earth when the Texans’ defense begins to impose its will. The Titans’ offense falters, and their patchwork defense has no answer for Davis Mills and the Texans’ receiving corps. Tennessee shows some fight at the end, but it is not enough.
Serena Burks: Texans 28, Titans 17
There’s not much left to say about the Titans this season. They are a team with a ton of potential that the coaching staff has been unable to bring to the forefront all season. Maybe they’ll find the guy that can do that during the offseason, but that certainly doesn’t help them now. If they lose this game on Sunday, the Texans will tie the historical series at 24 wins apiece, and they’ll sweep the Titans this season. And, honestly, that’s exactly what I expect to happen. The Texans’ defense will prove too much for the Titans’ youthful offense, and the Titans’ defense won’t have an answer for Nico Collins. Texans win this week and complete the sweep, but they will not shut out the Titans again.
Dan Benton: Texans 25, Titans 13
After starting the season 0-3, the Titans have gone 4-2 over their last six games, including impressive wins Ravens, 49ers, and Jaguars. They also battled hard in a low-scoring loss to the Denver Broncos. Even without quarterback C.J. Stroud, Houston is playing better than their overall record indicates, while the Titans continue to struggle in most areas.
Bryan Manning: Texans 20, Titans 13
You can pretty much throw the teams’ records out when the Titans and Texans play. The Texans are the better team and dominated the Titans earlier this season. Houston QB CJ Stroud is out for this game. While that sounds like a big deal, Davis Mills was terrific last week, making the decision to sit Stroud another week an easy one. I think the Titans keep it competitive, but their second win won’t come this weekend.
Tyler Henry: Texans 27, Titans 10
The last time these two teams met, the Texans shut out the Titans, 26-0. Even with quarterback C.J. Stroud set to miss his second straight game, the Texans were able to get a win last week against a tough Jacksonville Jaguars opponent with David Mills under center. Given the Texans’ strong defensive presence and the Titans’ tendency to give up points week in and week out, this one may get out of reach for the Titans early.
Joel Titus: Texans 24, Titans 14
The Titans’ defense and special teams were much improved last time out, and they only gained rest and health from the bye week. However, I feel the offense just will not have enough juice, especially if Ridley misses again. I think that the Texans’ defensive line is just full of game wreckers that the Titans will fail to block, and I don’t think Cam Ward can just escape the rush. I can see Texans having good success running the ball yet again on this defense, especially if Simmons remains out. I like them to rush for 150-plus yards.
