The NFL gave Green Bay Packers fans something new to talk about for the rest of the offseason when the 2025 NFL schedule was revealed May 14.
Based on their opponents’ 55.7% success rate in 2024, the Packers are tied for the fifth-toughest strength of schedule. Five of the Packers’ last seven games are against teams who made the playoffs in 2024.
One of the notable points on the schedule was the relatively early bye in Week 5. The last time the Packers had a bye week that early was the 2020 season.

Some fans on social media weren’t huge fans of the early break.
Other schedule highlights include a home game to open the season against the Detroit Lions, a “Monday Night Football” showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10 at Lambeau Field, and three straight games against NFC North opponents in Weeks 12-14.
Check out some other reactions to the Packers’ 2025 schedule, which kicks off Sept. 7.
