The Kansas City Chiefs (5-4) visit the Denver Broncos (8-2) in a Week 11 matchup Sunday. Kickoff from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, is for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Chiefs vs. Broncos odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Chiefs, who were off in Week 10, came up short in a 28-21 loss at the Buffalo Bills as 2.5-point favorites in Week 9. QB Patrick Mahomes was just 15-for-34 for 250 yards, no TDs and 1 INT. KC is just 1-3 on the road. RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) remains out, but all things considered, the team is relatively healthy.

The Broncos are the hottest team in football, winners of 7 straight. They survived a scare from the Las Vegas Raiders in a 10-7 win as 8.5-point favorites. QB Bo Nix was 16-for-28 for 150 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. RB J.K. Dobbins ran 18 times for 77 yards before he departed with a foot injury. He’s out Sunday, as is top CB Patrick Surtain Jr.

The last meeting of these teams was a meaningless final game last season as the Chiefs starters sat out of in a 38-0 Broncos victory. Nix threw for 321 yards and 4 TDs. Kansas City won the first meeting 16-14 and leads the all-time series 73-57.

Chiefs 24, Broncos 21

If the playoffs started today, KC would be out. The Chiefs need this one, but I’m not willing to bet -220 on them when Denver have proven more than formidable.

I’m a little surprised this line isn’t 1.5 as Nix has thrown picks in 3 straight games. Give me BO NIX OVER 0.5 INTERCEPTIONS (-145).

I’m going BRONCOS +4 (-105) here because they’re 5-0 at home and have a reasonable shot to win this. I just think the loss of Dobbins and Surtain will be too much.

This total is exactly at where we’re pegging this final score. The Chiefs are just 3-6 O/U, and the Broncos are 3-7. If I had to pick one side or the other, I’d go Over. So let’s take the ALTERNATE OVER 44.5 (-118).
