Atlanta has lost four straight games entering Week 11 matchup vs. Carolina.
After losing yet another heartbreaker in Week 10, the Atlanta Falcons are back at home for a Week 11 showdown against the Carolina Panthers. Sunday’s game will be the second regular-season meeting between the two NFC South rivals.
The Panthers demolished the Falcons in a 30-0 shutout back in Week 3. Michael Penix Jr. threw two interceptions, including a pick-six, as Carolina outplayed Atlanta in all three phases. Penix has thrown for eight touchdowns and one interception over his last five starts, but the Falcons have lost their last four games entering Week 11.
This may be Atlanta’s last chance to stop the bleeding before another season is lost. The team won’t have left guard Matthew Bergeron, edge Leonard Floyd or cornerback Dee Alford in Sunday’s game. Right guard Chris Lindstrom and wide receiver Drake London are listed as questionable.
