As difficult as some of the Los Angeles Rams’ matchups look in 2025, the NFL didn’t make their slate any tougher than it already is. The league didn’t give the Rams any three-game road trips or an early bye, nor is there a single team on their schedule that will be coming off a bye when they face Los Angeles.
Two years ago, the Rams faced four teams coming off a bye, which put them at a major disadvantage. Not this year.

According to Brian Burke of ESPN, the Rams have the fifth-biggest rest advantage of any team in the NFL this season at plus-8. This means they will have eight extra days of rest compared to their opponents in 2025.
For comparison, their rest edge was minus-1 in 2024 and minus-17 in 2023, which was the second-worst that year.
The Rams have to be happy with the way the NFL arranged their schedule, even if they do have four groups of back-to-back road games. The league also granted the Rams’ request to play on the East Coast before their London game, making the travel arrangements easier; the Rams will play in Baltimore before facing the Jags in London.

Also, Los Angeles has an extra day of rest after its Thursday Night Football game in Week 16 game against the Seahawks, facing the Falcons on Monday night the following week. There are small advantages like this throughout the schedule that will help the Rams in the long run.
