Class of 2026 four-star offensive tackle Kevin Brown has decommitted from Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Brown committed to the Nittany Lions in July 2024 and reopened his recruitment following James Franklin’s firing.
Brown is the sixth Penn State 2026 pledge to decommit in the aftermath of Franklin’s departure. He joins wide receiver Davion Brown, quarterback Troy Huhn, defensive end Elijah Littlejohn, cornerback Julian Peterson, and wide receiver Lavar Keys.
Brown is tabbed as the No. 2 player in Pennsylvania, No. 6 offensive tackle in the class of 2026, and the No. 61 player in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Brown has received extensive interest from West Virginia and Ohio State since reopening his recruitment. He took an official visit with the Buckeyes when Penn State visited Ohio Stadium two weeks ago.
