At the end of a long week of injury blows, the Arizona Cardinals finally delivered some positive news ahead of kickoff against the San Francisco 49ers.

All six of their players who were officially listed as questionable are active for the Week 11 game.

That includes running back Bam Knight (ankle), who will now likely lead the backfield, as he has since the Cardinals returned from their bye three weeks ago. Knight will be joined by Emari Demercado as the Cardinals’ passing downs back and Michael Carter as the third back.

Crucially, the Cardinals will also have Walter Nolen (knee) and Darius Robinson (groin) available after both players exited last week’s loss. That’s a boost for their defensive line and for both players’ development, as both have missed substantial time in their young careers with injuries.

As expected, offensive linemen Will Hernandez (knee) and Kelvin Beachum (groin) are both active. Hernandez, as usual, will start at right guard while Beachum will start at right tackle in place of the injured Jonah Williams, who was ruled out earlier in the week with a shoulder issue.

Week 11 will also mark the long-awaited return of edge rusher B.J. Ojulari. The 2023 second-round pick has not played since his rookie season as he tore his ACL, MCL and meniscus in training camp ahead of the 2024 season.

After a long, frustrating road to recovery, Ojulari will finally have the opportunity to build on a promising rookie season, nearly two full years later.
