The Jacksonville Jaguars blew out the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, and while the AFC playoff picture remains pretty similar, it is going to have implications down the line. The Chargers entered the day as the five seed with the Jaguars seventh, and that is still the case, but the Jags are a half-game behind the Chargers. Now Jacksonville has wins over two different wild card contenders in the Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs.

On Thursday, the New England Patriots won to take over the top spot in the conference from the Indianapolis Colts who are on a bye. The Pittsburgh Steelers on to maintain ownership of the AFC North for now.
