London and Penix both suffered knee injuries during Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.
#Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr is believed to have aggravated the same knee injury as earlier in the season, per me and @TomPelissero.
That bone bruise in the same knee kept him out one game. More tests coming, but there is concern he’ll miss some time. pic.twitter.com/1fMpX7MxIP

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and wide receiver Drake London both sustained injuries during Sunday’s 30-27 overtime loss to the Carolina Panthers. Penix exited the game with a knee injury in the third quarter and did not return. London also sustained a knee injury while making a catch in the fourth quarter.
Head coach Raheem Morris did not have any updates following Sunday’s loss, but there have been a few reports about London and Penix around the league. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Penix aggravated his prior bone bruise injury that forced him to miss Week 8.
“More tests coming, but there is concern he’ll miss some time,” Rapoport wrote on his social media accounts.
As for London, his knee injury is not believed to be serious, but nothing is official until the wide receiver undergoes tests on Monday.
“Drake London, who left Sunday’s game late with a knee injury, is not believed to have suffered a major knee injury, sources said,” reported Rapoport. “He could miss some time, but will find out tomorrow.”
We should find out more during Morris’ Monday press conference, but it sounds like both players could potentially miss a little time. Don’t be surprised if the Falcons choose to be cautious with both London and Penix after losing their fifth game in a row.
Atlanta dropped to 3-7 on the season and the playoffs are more than likely off the table. In Week 12, the Falcons will face the New Orleans Saints on the road. If Penix is held out, Kirk Cousins would get the start on Sunday.
