The Carolina Panthers are knocking on the door, however, and sit a half-game behind Tampa for the top spot in the division.

The biggest games in the NFC playoff picture were in the late window. The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks to shake up the NFC West and drop Seattle into the wild card race. The San Francisco 49ers won but remain just out of the playoff picture.
The Philadelphia Eagles won a huge Sunday night game to retake the top spot in the conference after a few hours behind the Rams while the Detroit Lions fall completely out of the playoff picture.
The Carolina Panthers are on the doorstep at 6-5, just behind the 6-4 Lions.

The New Orleans Saints are on the bye this week.

The Dallas Cowboys play on Monday night but that outcome won’t alter the standings at all.
