The Los Angeles Rams are the new leaders in the NFC West after their win over the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle is now the top wild card team in the NFC, at least for now.

The biggest games in the NFC playoff picture were in the late window. The San Francisco 49ers won but remain just out of the playoff picture. The Detroit Lions lost on Sunday night, so the 49ers are in position and Detroit is out.

The Los Angeles Rams held onto the top spot in the conference for a few hours, but the Philadelphia Eagles’ Sunday night win propelled them back to the top spot.

The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers both won and hold onto their playoff positions. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost but remain in fourth place.

The Carolina Panthers are 6-5 and on the doorstep just behind the Lions at 6-4.
