LAS VEGAS — The Cowboys honored the passing of second-year defensive end Marshawn Kneeland before and during their game with the Raiders on Monday night.

Kneeland died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Nov. 6 near the Cowboys’ practice facility in Frisco.

The team has been emotional since Kneeland’s passing and has made grief counselors available at the team facility.

On Monday, there was a moment of silence before kickoff. Kneeland’s No. 94 jersey was placed on the bench.

A majority of Cowboys players and coaches wore blue T-shirts in pregame warmups that featured Kneeland’s picture on the front. Defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton wore Kneeland’s jersey as he got off the team bus. Dallas pastor Tony Evans, a former team pastor, was also part of the Cowboys’ traveling party.

Kneeland’s jersey was hung in the visitors’ locker room.

Quarterback Dak Prescott, who normally writes scriptures on his wrist tape, had “One Love RIP 94!” written on his left wrist. Kneeland was fond of saying “One Love” to his teammates and coaches.
