The Los Angeles Rams unlocked their red zone offense with receiver Davante Adams this season.
The veteran pass-catcher added another endzone score in Week 11 from just one yard out, upping his season-long number to seven scores from inside the five-yard line with an NFL-leading 10 total touchdowns for the year.
Fellow receiver Puka Nacua is in awe of Adams’ ability in that part of the field. He told ESPN’s Pat McAfee this week that Adams is “unstoppable” in the endzone and that teams should put all of their defenders on him when the Rams get that close.
“It pretty much is unstoppable,” Nacua said. “We get inside the 10-yard line and it’s, like, you should probably throw 17 people at No. 17.”

Adams, who turns 32 in December, is turning back the clock in his first year with the Rams. While his yardage is down (569) and he may not reach 1,000 yards for the first time since 2019, Adams is scoring on an unprecedented pace. His 10 scores are the most for him since 2022, when he finished with a career-best 14. Adams also scored 10 in his first 10 games that year.
This is what the Rams were missing earlier this season and recently in their offense. They needed a redzone threat that can just go up and snag touchdown passes from Matthew Stafford.
Adams has delivered that, and now the Rams are riding a nice five-game winning streak and in sole position of first place in the NFC West.
