The Philadelphia Eagles will reportedly be without offensive tackle Lane Johnson for some time after he suffered a Lisfranc injury on Sunday night, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The five-time NFL All-Pro was injured during the first quarter of the Eagles’ 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions. After being evaluated in the medical tent, Johnson exited the field and did not return to the game.

Per Schefter, the injury is not expected to cost Johnson the rest of this season. Johnson is, however, a candidate for injured reserve, which would rule him out for at least four games.
“I know that he’ll do everything he can do to get back as quick as he possibly can,” Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said on Monday. “We’ll see the time that’s missed.”
Johnson is expected to get a second opinion on the injury, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo and he could be out between 4-6 weeks. The Eagles have seven games left in the regular season and they currently lead the NFC East with an 8-2 record.

Johnson was also injured during the Eagles’ Week 10 win over the Green Bay Packers. He left the first half with an ankle injury and sat for most of the second half. He did return with less than five minutes remaining in the game.
The 35-year-old Johnson has been part of two Eagles Super Bowl victories and along with his All-Pro recognition has also made six Pro Bowls.
