Three NFC West team would be in the playoffs if the season ended today. Of course, that doesn’t include Arizona.

There is a new leader in the NFC West. After two consecutive weeks of games within the division, the Los Angeles Rams now sit atop the division. The Rams also would be the NFC’s No. 1 seed in the playoffs if the season ended today.

And if the season ended today, three NFC West teams would make the playoffs, with the Seattle Seahawks as the No. 5 seed and the San Francisco 49ers getting the No. 7 seed as the final wild card.

Let’s have a look at the standings in the NFC West, what happened in Week 11 and what is coming up in Week 12.

Seahawks-Rams

The Rams beat the Seahawks 21-19 in LA. Seahawks QB Sam Darnold threw four interceptions, negating Seattle outgaining the Rams on offense 414-219. Rams QB Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes and running back Kyren Williams rushed for 91 yards and a score, but the Seahawks had the ball at the end of the game and missed a 61-yard field goal as time expired that would have won the game.

49ers-Cardinals

The Cardinals allowed over 40 points for the second consecutive week, losing 41-22 to the 49ers. Brock Purdy threw three touchdown passes in his return from a toe injury. Christian McCaffrey scored three times and had 121 total yards of offense, and tight end George Kittle had two touchdown catches.

Cardinals Q Jacoby Brissett set an NFL record with 47 pass completions and had two touchdown passes for the fifth consecutive game, but he also threw two interceptions and fell to 1-4 as a starter this season.

Week 12 NFC West schedule

The Seahawks will be on the road against the 1-9 Tennessee Titans.

The Cardinals will face the 6-4 Jacksonville Jaguars at home.

The Rams will host the 6-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football.

The 49ers will host the 6-5 Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football.
