Packers QB Jordan Love shown heading to locker room after injuring shoulder
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love took a big hit and went back to the locker room with a shoulder injury.
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t saying definitively whether they’ll have Aaron Rodgers on Nov. 23 after the former Packers legend left his team’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals with a non-throwing wrist fracture.
Reporting suggests the soon-to-be-42-year-old is pushing to make his next start despite the injury to his left wrist. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Nov. 18 that Rodgers won’t need surgery but doctors must clear him before he plays.
“It’s about bracing it and securing it for his comfort and safety and then it’s about how functional it is,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Nov. 18.
Aaron Rodgers is questionable to return to Steelers-Bengals with a left hand injury.

— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPoints) November 16, 2025Will Aaron Rodgers play against the Bears?
The injury scare isn’t just significant to Packers fans keeping tabs on the future Hall of Famer; the Steelers play the NFC North-leading Chicago Bears (7-3) on Nov. 23, with a noon kickoff. Pittsburgh also has more say in the NFC North race when it faces Detroit on Dec. 21.
Rodgers suffered the injury when he went to the turf late in the first half against Cincinnati. Backup Mason Rudolph finished the game as Pittsburgh went on to win, 34-12.
The injury could theoretically prevent Rodgers from resuming his success at Soldier Field in Chicago, where he declared in 2021 to Bears fans (or anyone in the vicinity), “I still own you,” following a touchdown against the Bears.
Aaron Rodgers record against the Bears
Rodgers has a career record of 24-5 in starts against the Bears. He’s won his last four games at Soldier Field.
The Steelers are 6-4 this year with Rodgers under center, already more wins than Rodgers accumulated last year with the New York Jets (5-12). He’s completing 66.4% of his passes, with 19 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a 97.7 quarterback rating.
The Bears and Packers share the distinction of owning the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL, using opponent winning percentage as a guide. After hosting Pittsburgh, Chicago has games remaining at Philadelphia, at Green Bay, at home against Cleveland and the Packers, at San Francisco and at home against the Lions.
