Packers WR Christian Watson talks about his two-touchdown day
For the first time since 2023, Christian Watson scored two touchdowns in a game to lead the Packers to a win over the Giants.
Jayden Reed’s return from injury is coming. When it will be is still to be determined.
But the Green Bay Packers wide receiver and fans are sure ready for it.
His post on social media on Nov. 18 shows that.
Reed’s post on X featured a photo of himself in his Packers uniform. It didn’t include any text, but the message was clear.
Reed has been out with a broken collarbone since the Packers’ 27-18 win over the Washington Commanders in Week 2 on Sept. 11.
Since then, the Packers’ passing game, which is also playing without tight end Tucker Kraft due to a season-ending injury, has suffered without its top wideout.
Jayden Reed injury
Reed broke his collarbone on the Packers’ first drive against the Commanders while attempting a catch on a long pass in the end zone.
He had surgery five days later.
At the same time, Reed also had surgery to repair a fracture in his left foot, an injury he suffered during training camp.
When is Jayden Reed coming back?
A date hasn’t been revealed on Reed’s return. Reed has been on injured reserve since his broken collarbone.
Asked on Monday, Nov. 17, if the team has plans to open a 21-day practice window for players like Reed on the injured reserve, head coach Matt LaFleur said “sure as heck hope so.”
LaFleur added: “We’ll have a better idea over the next two days.”
The recovery time for a collarbone fracture is often six to eight weeks. It’s been nine weeks since his surgery and it will mark 10 weeks since the collarbone injury on Nov. 20.
Jayden Reed stats
Reed’s return will give a boost to a Packers offense that has often been a disappointment in 2025. Reed, a second-round pick by the Packers in 2023, led the Packers in receiving his rookie season [64 catches for 793 yards with eight TDs] and in 2024 [55 catches for 857 yards with six TDs].
He had three catches for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ 27-13 Week 1 win over the Detroit Lions.
