With the Cincinnati Bengals running back room filling up with players, Trayveon Williams was, unfortunately, the odd man out.

Williams is leaving the Bengals for the New England Patriots, it was announced Wednesday.

In six seasons with the Bengals, the former sixth-round pick rushed for 307 yards on 62 carries and 15 catches for 74 yards. Additionally, Williams played 873 career snaps on special teams.

Elsewhere, the Baltimore Ravens are extending running back Derrick Henry. It’s a two-year, $30 million extension with $25 million guaranteed.

Even though Henry is 30 years old, this is a well-deserved contract extension. In 2024, Henry rushed for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns. That’s absurd. Henry is now over the illustrious 10,000 yards rushing mark in his career, a testament to his prolificness and durability.

In six career games against the Bengals, Henry has 484 yards on 99 carries and four touchdowns.
