The New Orleans Saints sit at 2-8 after a brutal start to their 2025 campaign, which was somewhat expected given the current state of the roster. Now, after a Week 11 bye, they have seven more games to try and prove they have some level of competitive fire heading into 2026. With players trying to prove their worth and maintain a roster spot heading into what could be a complete overhaul offseason, things could get interesting.
With the bye week wrapped up and another matchup on deck, let’s take a look at the remaining games and predict the outcomes based on the current information we have.
Week 12: vs. Atlanta Falcons
Starting off with the upcoming matchup, the Saints are riding high after getting some momentum off the Carolina Panthers, and now, they know how to run their offense a bit. The defense was stifling, and after a week of rest, they now take on a dilapidated Falcons squad that is coming off another week of switched quarterbacks. After losing to the same Panthers the Saints just beat, it should be a possibility for the Falcons to lose this one on the road.
Prediction: Win (3-8)
The Miami Dolphins may be one of the hardest squads to predict against when it comes to their roster. On one hand, they beat out the Falcons, Washington Commanders, and Buffalo Bills recently. But on the other hand, they got absolutely blown out by the Cleveland Browns and lost to Carolina previously, which bodes well for New Orleans. This will be a close and tightly fought matchup, more than likely, and the Saints prevail on their defensive prowess.
Prediction: Win (4-8)
Week 14: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The first matchup between these two sides in a home game for New Orleans ended in an ugly 23-3 scoreline. While the Saints have made changes since then, the Florida road trip gets them in the second game as they fall once again to a team that has been taking over the recent matchups with a strong passing game and effective run game.
Prediction: Loss (4-9)
Week 15: vs. Carolina Panthers
After a promising win in Week 10 over Carolina, which put the Saints on the map a little bit, it should be within range to beat them again, this time at home. New Orleans basically just loaded the box against the run and told Bryce Young to throw the ball if he dared. He did dare, which led to an interception and only 124 yards on the day despite throwing 25 times.
Prediction: Win (5-9)
Week 16: vs. New York Jets
By the time this game happens, it will have been over eight years since the New York Jets traveled to the Caesars Superdome for a game…well…actually the then Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The Saints have taken four of the last five against the Jets, and with both squads looking enormously streaky on offense, it will come down to the defenses to decide this one, and the Saints should have the superior unit there.
Prediction: Win (6-9)
Week 17: @ Tennessee Titans
This series, over time, is much more interesting, as the Saints have won three of the last five, but there’s a loss between each one. This could end up being a battle for the bottom pick in the draft in the current setting, but in this prediction, the Saints will be fighting for some wins, and Tennessee just has nothing going for them, currently riding a five-game losing streak.
Prediction: Win (7-9)
Week 18: @ Atlanta Falcons
Getting both games over Atlanta is a lot to ask, even in the current state of both teams. The Falcons will want to kill whatever momentum the Saints take into their city, and with nothing left to fight for on either side, it just becomes another slugfest between two bitter rivals for a win that ultimately gets neither anywhere.
Prediction: Loss (7-10)
