Raiders vs. Browns picks against the spreadJon Hoefling: Cleveland Browns (+3.5)
Sure Cleveland doesn’t have a quarterback but if Lamar Jackson had trouble against this Browns defense, just imagine the fits that Geno Smith will have.
Jordan Mendoza: Las Vegas Raiders (-3.5)
This game may be a tough watch, but there’s more confidence in Las Vegas being able to move the ball down field. It may be a field goal fest in the Sin City.
Lorenzo Reyes: Cleveland Browns (+3.5)
This is going to be a little unpredictable, with Shedeur Sanders on path to start. Although, if Dillon Gabriel goes, I don’t know that it helps Cleveland. Sanders’ initial play last week was not good, but he was thrust late in the game. With a week to prepare a scheme that suits him, things should be better. This is more about Cleveland’s defense, though the play I like best here is the under.
Tyler Dragon: Cleveland Browns (+3.5)
A matchup between two bad football teams. I’m, along with the rest of the football world, intrigued to see Shedeur Sanders play.
Blake Schuster: Las Vegas Raiders (-3.5)
The Cleveland Browns started the season with a billion quarterbacks on the roster and are down to Shedeur Sanders. That’s Cleveland Luck in a nutshell. Take the under.
Christopher Bumbaca: Las Vegas Raiders (-3.5)
The Raiders might be the worst team in the NFL. But we simply can’t pick Shedeur Sanders in his first NFL career start, or a recently-concussed Dillon Gabriel, or Bailey Zappe.
