The Pittsburgh Steelers‘ defense has a tall ask in front of them this Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears, stopping the No. 2 rushing offense in the NFL — which HC Mike Tomlin appears to have all the answers for.
During Tuesday’s press conference, Tomlin was asked by reporters how Pittsburgh plans to stop Chicago’s electric run game — and his confidence in the Steelers’ defense didn’t waver.

“It’s about us, it’s not about our opponent,” Tomlin said about stopping the Bears’ rushing offense. “It’s not, respectfully. It’s about being in our gaps and communicating and adjusting. Being solid that way.”
The Steelers’ run defense has flashed moments of greatness this season, such as holding the NFL leader in rushing, Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor, to just 45 yards in Week 9.
Fans can tune in on November 23 at 1:00 p.m. EST to see if the Tomlin-led Steelers can hold off the Bears’ high-powered rushing offense — the toughest test Pittsburgh’s run defense has faced so far this season.
