Going into their Week 12 bye, the Denver Broncos have a 2.5 Football Power Index (FPI) rating from ESPN, which ranks 11th in the NFL.

The Washington Commanders, who will host the Broncos on Sunday Night Football in Week 13, are ranked 21st with a -2.5 rating.

FPI is “a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season,” according to ESPN.com.

“FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.”

So with that background in mind, here’s a look at how the league’s 32 teams stack up based on FPI going into Week 12.

NFL FPI rankings

The Broncos’ rating has improved from 2.2 last week, but the team’s rank (11th) is unchanged.
