Jonathan Gannon ruled out wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and running back Emari Demercado for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. It’s been over a week since Harrison’s appendicitis surgery, which made him inactive last weekend. He’s recovering from that procedure.

Demercado exited the 49ers matchup early with an ankle injury. After a brief locker room visit, Demercado returned to the sidelines and practiced running, but was ultimately unable to return.

The Cardinals had key offensive lineman miss practice on Wednesday. Right tackle Jonah Williams continues to nurse a shoulder injury that made him inactive last weekend. Kelvin Beachum, who typically misses Wednesday practice with a veterans rest day sat out practice with a groin injury. If he’s unable to return to the field, rookie Josh Fryar could be in line to start his first game.

Right guard Will Hernandez (knee) did not participate on Wednesday. He was a part of a rotation with Isaiah Adams against the 49ers which Gannon said was health-related.

Also not practicing were outside linebacker Baron Browning (concussion), safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (ankle), and cornerback Will Johnson (back/hip). The Cardinals potentially avoided another significant injury to Garrett Williams. After exiting Sunday’s game with a ankle injury, Williams was a limited participant at practice.

The players to practice in a limited capacity were running backs Trey Benson (knee) and Bam Knight (ankle), offensive lineman Hayden Conner (knee), and Darius Robinson (groin).

The Jaguars were without defensive end Travon Walker (knee) and linebacker Yasir Abdullah (finger). Former Cardinals outside linebacker Dennis Gardeck was limited with a chest injury.
