A look at the Cardinals’ first injury report of Week 12.
The Arizona Cardinals opened their practice week on Wednesday in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and released their first injury report of the week.
Of the 13 players listed, eight did not practice and five were limited. Seven are starters. Head coach Jonathan Gannon already declared wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and running back Emari Demercado out for the game.
Running back Trey Benson, who has been on injured reserve since hurting his knee in Week 4 against Seattle, had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday.
The Jaguars listed 16 players on their report, with two not practicing and the remainder limited. Ten are starters.

Harrison had surgery a week ago Monday for appendicitis and will miss another game. Demercado injured his ankle against the 49ers and reports are that it is a high-ankle sprain, which could extend his absence beyond this week. Hernandez was subbed for four series against Seattle and since beginning practice after the cut to 53, this is the first time instead of being limited that he didn’t practice.
Beachum started in place of Williams against the Seahawks, but left the game after aggravating his groin injury. Rookie undrafted free agent Josh Fryar replaced him.
