Biggest NBA surprises

These are the NBA teams we’ve been most surprised by almost a month into the season.

The New York Jets are back in action with a new quarterback slated to start against the Baltimore Ravens.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters on Wednesday afternoon that veteran QB Tyrod Taylor will get the nod in Week 12, confirming reports from earlier in the week that Taylor would replace QB Justin Fields after another subpar outing from the former first round pick.

It’ll be the second start for Taylor this season, who started Week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Fields was ruled out from a concussion he suffered in Week 2 versus the Buffalo Bills.

It’s a familiar foe for Taylor, who was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft and appeared in 14 games across four seasons with Baltimore. Taylor’s tenure with the organization was highlighted by winning Super Bowl XLVII (47) in 2013.

Despite the QB change, the 2-8 Jets are still massive road underdogs against the Ravens (5-5), who are on a four-game winning streak after a 1-5 start prior to their bye in Week 7. On BetMGM, Baltimore is currently a 13.5-point home favorite versus the Jets, who are 6/1 (+600) on the win the game — tied with the Tennessee Titans — for the largest underdog of the Week 12 slate in the NFL.

Here’s the current expected weather forecast and temperature for Jets vs. Ravens in Baltimore on Sunday afternoon:
