Teams that finish 3-14 don’t usually earn the NFL’s toughest schedule as their rewards.

Enter the 2025 Tennessee Titans (1-9), who will play the Seattle Seahawks (7-3) at Nissan Stadium on Nov. 23 (noon CT, FOX). This’ll be the Titans‘ seventh game against a team that would be in the playoffs if the season ended today, with three more to come, and that doesn’t even count the December matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Nor does this list include the Houston Texans, who boast the NFL’s No. 1 defense and already have beaten the Titans twice.

Such is the Titans’ luck. The Seahawks are one of the NFL’s most complete teams, entering the weekend ranked in the top six in the NFL in each of the following 11 categories: points per game; yards per game; yards per play; passing yards per game; passing yards per play; sacks allowed per attempt; defensive points per game; defensive yards per play; pass yards allowed per game; rush yards allowed per game; and rush yards allowed per play.

Not a great setup for the Titans.

Here are The Tennessean’s scouting report and score prediction for Titans vs Seahawks.

Titans vs Seahawks scouting reportTitans’ offense vs Seahawks’ defense

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald’s defense does just about everything well. Only Denver, Houston and Green Bay are allowing fewer yards per play. Meanwhile, Cleveland is the only team gaining fewer yards per play than QB Cam Ward and the Titans.

The Titans don’t sustain drives, don’t protect the quarterback, can’t stop committing penalties and simply don’t score that many points. Now comes a Seahawks defense that ranks among the league’s leaders in pressure rate while ranking near the bottom of the league in blitz percentage.

The edge is easy.

Advantage: Seattle

Titans’ defense vs Seahawks’ offense

This matchup is a little less lopsided, but the Seahawks are still decidedly better. QB Sam Darnold has been one of the league’s most effective passers, and star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is leading the league in receiving yards and receiving yards per target. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak keeps opposing defenses off-balance by deploying formations with multiple running backs at roughly three times league average, forcing opponents to choose between keeping the power-run game honest and putting extra defensive backs on the field to slow down the vertical passing attack. And this Titans defense that’s already depleted in the secondary doesn’t have nearly the personnel to match the gambit.

Advantage: Seattle

Seahawks vs Titans betting odds

Per BetMGM, the Seahawks are 13.5-point favorites to win. The Seahawks moneyline is set at -900 (an implied probability of 90%) and the Titans’ moneyline is +600. The over-under points total is set at 40.5.

Score prediction: Seahawks 31, Titans 14

The Titans are starting to make some strides, but none that come close to resembling the challenges Seattle has already withstood. The Seahawks should cruise to an easy victory here.
