Thursday’s updated injury report brought good news for the New Orleans Saints — starting right tackle Taliese Fuaga (ankle) returned to practice on a limited basis after he was held out earlier in the week. Except for a couple of non-injury situations for wide receiver Brandin Cooks (who was waived) and nose tackle Davon Godchaux (given his weekly day off for veteran’s rest), it was more of the same for New Orleans.

Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) was limited, while wide receiver Chris Olave and tight end Jack Stoll practiced fully with their own ankle injuries. Backup offensive tackle Barry Wesley (hip) again practiced fully and should come off the injured reserve list soon.

But almost all of the good news came out of New Orleans. The Atlanta Falcons are dealing with a ton of injuries. Starting right guard Chris Lindstrom (foot) practiced on a limited basis after being held out to start the week, and rookie safety Xavier Watts (illness) practiced fully after resting on Wednesday, too. Key figures like starting quarterback Michael Penix (knee) and rookie wide receiver Drake London (knee) didn’t practice again, and the team is bracing for Penix to undergo season-ending surgery for a torn ACL.

Here’s the full injury report for Thursday. We’ll get a better idea of everyone’s status when the final report drops Friday:
