Let’s take a closer look at the Colts’ second Week 12 injury report, which included Daniel Jones being limited.

The #Colts are just being extra careful/cautious regarding QB Daniel Jones’ calf, from what I’ve gathered.

Plus, it’s paramount for NFL teams to be very transparent with all injuries — no matter how small or big.

There was a major change to the Indianapolis Colts’ Week 12 injury report on Thursday.

After not being listed on Wednesday, quarterback Daniel Jones was limited on Thursday with a calf injury.

At this time, there are no specifics about the injury or Jones’ status for Sunday. Head coach Shane Steichen will speak to the media on Friday as he does each week.

However, the early updates from those who cover the team seem to be positive.

As of right now, I am not sensing any reason for alarm on Daniel Jones. There is obviously a lot of scrutiny of injury reports right now, so teams gotta be fully transparent.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow. https://t.co/PVjGzpPIz8

Some positive news for the Colts is that the pass rush received another boost on Thursday with defensive end Tyquan Lewis (groin) returning to practice in a limited fashion.

Anthony Gould (knee) and Samson Ebukam (knee) each practiced for a second day in a row. Gould was again a full participant, and Ebukam was limited again.

Jaylon Carlies (ankle) and Charvarius Ward (concussion) were both full participants as well. Both players are still technically on injured reserve and can be added back to the 53-man roster at any point.

Lastly, Kenny Moore was back after a vet rest day, while Grover Stewart had a rest day on Thursday.
