Last week, in a game against the 49ers, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride recorded 10 receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown. It was McBride’s fifth consecutive game with a touchdown reception. McBride also became the third tight end in NFL history to have at least 5 receptions in twelve straight games.
With another touchdown on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, McBride can become the third tight end in NFL history with a touchdown reception in six consecutive games within a single season. Since entering the NFL in 2021, McBride has caught 292 passes, placing him fourth on the list of total receptions in a player’s first four seasons.
On the season, McBride has 71 receptions for 718 yards. If he were to catch 9 passes against the Jaguars, he would become the sixth tight end in NFL history with 80 receptions and 800 yards receiving in three consecutive seasons.
The Arizona Cardinals will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
