The Cincinnati Bengals have activated Mike Gesicki and placed Cam Taylor-Britt on injured reserve, the team announced Friday. Cincinnati also signed Isaiah Foskey from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.
Gesicki, who was placed on the injured reserve list on October 15 with a pectoral injury, was designated for return and cleared to practice on Wednesday. Zac Taylor said on Friday that Gesicki will be listed as questionable to play Sunday vs. the New England Patriots.
Taylor-Britt, a fourth-year player, suffered a foot injury in Cincinnati’s Week 11 game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was later revealed that he will need foot surgery, so his season is effectively over.
Foskey, a third-year player, signed to Cincinnati’s practice squad on September 9. He was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for two games. Look for him to be active Sunday with Trey Hendrickson set to miss another game due to his lingering back injury.
