J.T. Gray has landed on his feet.
After being cut by the Denver Broncos with an injury designation earlier this month, Gray has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ practice squad. To make room for Gray, the Bucs cut offensive lineman Karsen Barnhart (another former Bronco).
The Broncos poached Gray off the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad last month, and he was a healthy scratch for his first two games with the club before making his Denver debut in Week 9. Gray then suffered a hamstring injury in Week 10 and was subsequently released.
Gray previously battled a hamstring injury this summer with the New Orleans Saints. Seemingly healthy now, he’ll get a fresh start in Tampa.
Elsewhere on the ex-Bronco front, the Cleveland Browns signed wide receiver Kaden Davis to their practice squad and the Arizona Cardinals worked out offensive lineman Marques Cox after moving on from wide receiver Jalen Virgil.
