Will Jacksonville Jaguars’ running back Bhayshul Tuten play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals?
Here is what we know following Friday’s practice.
Will Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten play vs. Cardinals?
Tuten would exit last week’s game with an ankle injury. He was limited in all three practices this week, however, he does not have an injury designation, meaning that he will be available for Sunday’s game with Arizona.
Bhayshul Tuten’s stats this season
Tuten has carried the ball 60 times this season for 238 yards, averaging 4.0 yards per rush with three touchdowns. He also has eight receptions for 61 yards and another score.
Tuten is coming off a career game against LA, where he carried the ball 15 times, which was a career high, and recorded 74 rushing yards — another career high. Tuten scored as well.
Travis Etienne leads the way at this position, while Tuten and LeQuint Allen have been sharing the RB2 reps. Allen has played 156 snaps this season, while Tuten has played 155.
Both backs have distinct roles, with Tuten carrying the ball, and Allen often on the field on passing downs to help block.
The Jaguars also have Cody Schrader on the 53-man roster as well. He has been a healthy scratch in each game this season.
Etienne, who was also on the injury report this week, does not have an injury designation either and will be good to go.
