The NFL schedule is here, and with that, we now have all the information regarding who the New Orleans Saints will take on in 2025 and early 2026. Their schedule is actually very interesting compared to previous years, with this being the year they take on the AFC East and NFC West in their entirety. The way it has been spaced out…or rather not spaced out, is what makes it so intriguing. The first three matchups of the year for the Saints will all be NFC West opponents, in the following order:
This will make the NFC South rather interesting, especially considering the Saints won’t even play a team from their own division until Week 8 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In fact, before their bye week, they have eight games against non-divisional opponents and two against NFC South teams. They also have the same amount of out-of-conference games as divisional ones before the bye, taking on the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 and the New England Patriots in Week 6.

After the bye week is when it becomes crunch time; however, with four of their remaining seven being in the division, two of which are their matchups with the Atlanta Falcons. This is one of the more peculiar schedule structures that has been put out across the league, and while it helps them get many of their huge travel games out of the way early (especially the leg from Seattle to Buffalo), the games down the stretch in the division will be brutal, no doubt.
