When it rains, it pours — and that couldn’t be more applicable than the Chicago Bears’ injury woes ahead of the Week 12 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
After Chicago ruled out three top linebackers for Week 12, a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Saturday indicates that Bears DBs Kyler Gordon (calf) and Jaylon Johnson (groin) — questionable to play on Sunday — will not be activated off injured reserve ahead of the matchup vs. the Steelers.
Johnson was able to fully participate in back-to-back practices to close out the week, while Gordon still managed to practice in full on Friday.

The news couldn’t be better for Pittsburgh, with the Bears already down LBs Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards, and Noah Sewell. Johnson and Gordon remaining on injured reserve allows the Steelers’ offense to exploit Chicago both on the ground and through the air in the matchup between the two divisional leaders.
