The Seattle Seahawks will take on the Tennessee Titans for a Week 12 cross-conference showdown. Seattle (7-3) needs a win to stay within striking distance of the first place Los Angeles Rams. Fortunately, they get a scheduling break with the Titans.

Tennessee is, naturally, not a team the Seahawks see all that often. Which means this is a perfect opportunity to take a a trip Behind Enemy Lines to learn more about the Titans. We at Seahawks Wire spoke with Titans Wire contributor Mark Mihalko. Our questions for Mikalko are below, and to see our answers to Titans Wire’s questions click here.

No. 1 – With the Titans cruising for the No. 1 overall pick (again) what do you see is the most pressing need for this team for them to address with the top spot in the 2026 NFL draft?

Tennessee has needs all over the roster, and could go many different ways when the draft finally arrives. The most pressing needs would be wide receiver, cornerback, and edge. Tennessee lacks a true No. 1 wide receiver (even when Calvin Ridley is healthy) and needs a game-changer on the outside that Cam Ward can rely on. Defensively, the lack of a true top-edge player and a shutdown cornerback hurt, and they need playmakers. Best best-case scenario would be a trade back to acquire more picks.

No. 2 – How would you evaluate Cam Ward’s season?

There is no doubt Ward has had a rocky season, and one that is hard to truly evaluate. Between coaching failures, poor offensive line play, and a lack of dynamic weapons, his production has not met the lofty expectations. But he has flashed potential and made plays. At this point, he is trending in the right direction, but there is still work to do.

No. 3 – Tennessee will once again be searching for a head coach. Is there anyone out there, NFL or college, who you’d be most curious to see lead the Titans?

This coaching search should be interesting, and there are many names being floated around. While I don’t have a favorite at the moment, I would be looking for an experienced coach who can help build the culture and one who has a potential network of assistants to call upon to help develop the talent the Titans acquire.

No. 4 – Who is a non-household name on the Titans that you think the 12th Man should be aware of?

WR Chimere Dike. The fourth-round pick out of Florida has proven to be a steal, producing on both offense and special teams. Even after missing half of the Week 11 matchup with the Houston Texans, Dike continues to lead the NFL in all-purpose yardage.

No. 5 – Who wins and why?

The Seahawks win going away. Tennessee enters the game with depth and injury concerns at cornerback and wide receiver, and doesn’t match up well. Couple that with a poor offensive line that struggles both in pass protection and the run game, and it could be a long afternoon.
