The Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks face off in Week 12 action this Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
These two teams are having very different seasons, and on paper, it looks like the Seahawks are going to run roughshod over the Titans this week. Of course, we all know that what we see on paper can be very different from what we see on the field, so nothing is ever guaranteed.
Still, having seen both of these teams on the field, it’s likely to be a one-sided affair. The Titans barely have enough wide receivers to field a team, and their secondary is nonexistent. This week’s prop bets reflect that.
Here are the three best prop bets from the Titans vs. Seahawks Week 12 matchup, per BetMGM.
Anytime touchdown scorer: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba +105
This one is a no-brainer. Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the league with 1,146 receiving yards and adds five touchdowns. The Titans’ secondary has been depleted by injuries and player movement, leaving a thin veil that’s easily torn. JSN will find the end zone against the Titans, and he might do it more than once.
Passing yards: QB Sam Darnold OVER 250 yards -110
Sam Darnold averages 254.1 yards per game. It was really tempting to make it over 300 yards at +300, but Seattle may turn to the run game if they get a big lead. Darnold will not struggle to throw for 250 yards against the Titans, especially considering that’s his season average, but I’m not convinced he’ll go over 300, so this is a safer bet.
Receiving yards: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba OVER 125 yards +300
JSN averages 114.6 yards per game as it is, and with the Titans’ lack of a secondary, combined with being Darnold’s almost singular target, means he’s going to feast on Sunday. He has four games with over 125 yards already this season, and another with 124 receiving yards. He torched the Jacksonville Jaguars for 162 yards earlier this season, and at +400, JSN getting over 150 receiving yards might even be a safe bet this week.
