The Tennessee Titans made a couple of roster moves ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, and one of those has struck a chord with the fan base on social media.
With their wide receiver depth pushed to the limit, the Titans finally elevated wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, making him eligible for the first time in his NFL career. Ever since he was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Miami, fans have salivated over the thought of reuniting quarterback Cam Ward with his favorite college target at Miami.
There is no denying it is a great story: Restrepo is an underdog who outperformed his measurables during his college career. Unfortunately, his lack of traits kept him out of the draft, allowing him to reconnect with Ward in Nashville.
While his role has not been identified, he will make his NFL debut on Sunday. Here is how fans reacted on social media.
If the #titans elevate Restrepo they’ll give him 6% of the snaps☠️

Restrepo time. What have they really got to lose at this point? #titans

#Titans prediction: Restrepo will have 2 catches for 35 yards on 5-6 targets and Cam will add a pick trying to force the ball to him.

I could give less than 2 rips if Xavier Restrepo plays special teams or not (Fossil can find a spot)
Getting open on 3rd down is much more important than making a tackle on ST. You find somebody to make that tackle
We can’t find somebody that can get open like Xavier#Titans https://t.co/W7X4yiPZdT

I honestly hope @XavierRestrepo1 produces In his role tomorrow…God forbid he isn’t a special teams superstar but actually runs correct routes and catches the ball when thrown to him…you Titan WRs prerequisite usually is run blocking and special teams 😭😭 #Titans

Xavier Restepo was very productive at Miami playing with Cam Ward.
But he went undrafted and no one has signed him off the #Titans practice squad all season.
He’s not fast, he’s not a natural NFL special teamer and he will make for three slot receivers on the game day roster… https://t.co/jlQMeQUFfu
