CLEMSON — Clemson football wide receiver Antonio Williams announced on Nov. 22 that he will forego his final year of eligibility next season to enter the 2026 NFL Draft.
Williams could have gone to the draft last season but returned for his fourth season after Clemson brought back many returning starters, including quarterback Cade Klubnik.
This season, Williams has recorded 48 catches for 538 yards and four touchdowns. Two of his receiving touchdowns came against Furman on Nov. 22 at Memorial Stadium.
Williams has recorded 201 catches for 2,270 yards and 21 touchdowns over four years at Clemson. He is also 4-of-4 passing for 143 yards and two touchdowns in his career.
“He’s ready,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said Nov. 22. “Somebody gonna get a great one. He’s as good as we ever had.”
Williams is the first Clemson player with eligibility remaining to announce he will enter the NFL draft.
Cornerback Avieon Terrell, defensive tackle Peter Woods, edge rusher T.J. Parker and safety Khalil Barnes have not announced a decision. Woods and Parker both participated in senior day festivities as they are expected to graduate this December.
Players who are out of eligibility and will try to go to the NFL are Klubnik, linebacker Wade Woodaz, offensive linemen Blake Miller, Ryan Linthicum, Tristan Leigh and Walker Parks, safety Tyler Venables, running back Adam Randall and defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart.
With Clemson (6-5) beating Furman (6-6), the Tigers are bowl eligible for the 21st season in a row. Clemson will face in-state rival South Carolina (4-7) on Nov. 29 (noon ET, SEC Network) at Williams-Brice Stadium to conclude the regular season.
